Track the Reds (Week 8)

Please don't start a "Volquez-O-meter"....we all know what happen the last you did that :p .....now everyone wants him out of town.

I did the O Meter because of my hatred toward Patterson.

It was a matter of time before he wore out his welcome. Voltron is going to eventually have ups and downs, but he has shown himself as a solid member of the rotation.

Tonight's lineup.

Ryan Freel 3b

Corey Patterson cf

Ken Griffey Jr. rf

Brandon Phillips 2b

Adam Dunn lf

Jerry Hairston Jr. ss

Paul Bako c

Edinson Volquez p

Johny Fay left out the 1st basemen in the lineup, so I don't know if it's Votto or Hatte. E-5 is supposedly sick, but Eric Cooper who threw Encarnacion out of the game last night will be at 3rd tonight, so that could have something to do with it. Either way, at least Dusty found a way to get Patterson's hot bat in there tonight against a lefty.

What is up, do you think, with Dusty's man-love for CP? I just haven't seen all that much to get excited about over Cory?

BTW, I am watching tonight. My strike did nothing to help. Besides, I couyldn't hardly get an update from you guys.;)

Hey, I know the Aflac Trivia question. It was Kevin Kouzmanoff two years ago off of tonight's Red's starter Edinson Volquez. I was watching the game at a Sports Bar in Birmingham. I didn't realize it was historic until the next day.

Ryan Freel is simply reckless. People mistake it for hustle, but he is simply a stupid baseball player.

When will they get Patterson out of there. He has no reason to be starting with a lefty. Absolutely useless.

Why? Why? Why?

Two on with two out and one of your hotter hitters up and you try a double steal?

Stupid stupid baseball.

You never want to make the 1st or 3rd out at third base.

Well when you have Patterson who can't get it past the pitcher, I am sure it gets frustrating.

How can you blame Patterson for that base running blunder?

Sure he failed to sacrifice, but Freel is simply stupid on the paths.

One hopper back to the box and he is sprinting to third?

His big problem is, he thinks he can make everything happen.

They absolutely need to get one if not two runs here.
