The one thing that makes it fun being a Kentucky high school fan is seeing so many kids in our state doing so well. The positive trend and the recognition our kids are getting is great for Kentucky hoops.

Jacob Jenkins is one of the most phenominal players to come through KY in a long time. He's got size, strength, and athleticism. His shooting and ball-handling skills are among the best (if not THE best) in the state. I would hate to see the wildcats miss out on a player like this one!

The 17s will be won by DS Allstars as shooterx2 has pronounced. Again, it really is good to see this much chatter about Kentucky High School kids and the level of play. I think the future classes are only going to get stronger and stronger.

How about Aaron Crosby just added to the team? Plus Ge'lawn has a shooting coach five days a week, about 500-1000 shoots a day. He works very hard on shooting. Just watch this weekend!

Prom on Friday night. Arrived in akron at 7.30am at hotel. After an all night car drive and arrived sick. Indiana Elite One pool games were both early and played before noon. Was hoping to play the Sunday games if felt better, but Elite was knocked out of the event on Saturday. As you well know, they were without Byrd, Hulls, and Ryan.

That is quite an "allstar" team. Is Cosby just a guest player since the Hoopstars aren't playing in this tournament? What happened to the other KY Players that were on the roster. Were they replaced in mid-season? I also heard that another 6'8" player added. They sound like the prohibitive favorites now, but you never know for sure, especially if they haven't played much together as a team.

 

There's also something to be said about playing and accomplishing things with the team you start your season with.

 

Maybe we should just create 2 KY super-teams and combine all of the best players in KY onto 2 teams and skip the tournament :lol:
