Well, all this talk a few days ago about the major teams in the tourney, may be a waste of gas coming down lol. I am guessing I have the longest drive of anyone to the games

I will give you updates, gas prices are too high for me to drive across town.

Only one team is out from a week ago so will be a good State AAU.

I hear Charlotte Court/AKA Blaze is having some issues with new coaches this year. A lot of defections. I know their 15u team pulled out due to lack of players.

 

And Goldenrule19......, are your Ge'Lawns "Agent". During HS season, all you talk about is Gelawn and Scott County. (hundreds of posts about Gelawn) Now all you talk about is Gelawn and whatever AAU team he is on. What is the deal? We like to talk about all kinds of players. All you talk about is Gelawn.

Come on now, everyone knows he is a Major D1 talent. He will be starring for an elite college program in a couple of years.

Why attack me all the time for my post on Ge'lawn? I wrote about KY Players and Aaron Cosby for the last couple post. Sorry if you do not like Ge'lawn or Scott Co. but I do! Come to the KBA and watch the game Friday at 8pm. Saturday at 1pm,6pm. But will not go to your level. This is fun for me. :sssh:

Anyone have updates from this past week end?

I will be there all weekend, watching all the teams and players. Should be fun.

 

Wish the State AAU got more exposure from major D1 coaches and such. Now it is just the major All Star, Shoe Camps, Lebron, King of the Hill, etc that get the attention. Also a lot of D1 coaches don't make a lot of HS games. (until they have player in their sights). That is why a lot of great talent goes under the radar sometimes. Then these under the radar kids, end up at a mid-major, and turn that school into a top 20 team. Recruiting has changed a lot over the last decade or so.

Derek Smith beat the Shinning Stars in OT tonight. I am pretty sure the final was 76-70. C.J. Penny played with the Shinning Stars tonight.

Final was 76-72, very good game in overtime. DS has one of their bigs out with a sore knee and Shining Stars played well. I think Penney led them in scoring with about 22.

What time does Team Kentucky play? I looking for a BIG numbers for Jenkins in both games! Wonder if BCG will send anyone to watch him play, maybe a manager to scout him out???

Team Kentucky plays the Shinning Stars at 10:30 this morning. Then Kentucky will play the DSAS at 1:30 PM, then the KY Thunder at 6 PM, all on court #1.

 

Team Kentucky did practice at UK's Joe Kraft Center last night for a few hours to try and find a way to stay close to the two Titan teams of Shinning Stars and DSAS. You are correct on your last sentence RR

Jody Demling had a nice video blog on Jenkins this past week from the Adidas May Classic in Bloomington.

The KY Player beat G-town Stars by 50 points. This team is crazy how good they will be when they jell together. The score was 95-45, they play again today at 1pm against the Louisville Lakers. Will keep you updated on the next game.
