May 3, 200818 yr I sense PETA members are blogging away about today's derby. Why would they even watch then? Either they attack Horse Racing in general for the fact the animals are being rode and placed in harms way, in which case they should not have even been tuned in unless they were waiting for something like this to happen. ..Or they are angry that the horse was euthanized, when it was truly the only option because of the intense pain that animal was enduring and the 0% chance of survival.... It only will fire up PETA more because it was a filly too.....:madman:

May 3, 200818 yr Who was the pretty lady they kept showing for Big Brown? The one with the small child next to her? I think it was either the trainer's or jockey's wife. The lady that jumped into the trainer's arms on the track and walked with him was his daughter. Both were top notch though.
