That is about all that I have to say about the Bengals considering the latest assault charge thread. There imo needs to be a complete housecleaning of the entire organization and team. Yeah, those 75 guys who are great people need to be shipped out of town, like Carson, Willie, Geathers, Thornton, and on and on and on....
May 2, 200818 yr I am not kidding at all. If I was starting a team and I got to choose one or the other I would take Alexander. With all that said, I hope you are right about Rudi having a good year. As with all players, it is all predicated on health.

I obviously didn't mean the entire 75 guys, (there may very well be around a half a dozen or so that are not thugs ). I am actually suprised that C. Palmer hasn't tried to get out of town yet. Palmer seems to be a class individual and there imo is no question that he could be a championship QB somewhere. With the current situation in Cincy .......mangement and imo a large pct. of the players on the Bengals (especially the managment) I don't see Cincy challenging anytime soon. Like I said in another post after this latest run in with a Bengal and the Police :irked:, assault charges, etc.. and on and on. I don't know if I could ever root against the Bengals, I am just to the point where I am about done rooting for them.

He tried to go. "Washed up? Injured wrist and still wanted to play. Shows his heart. "We don't want him". 31 isn't old. We all can name RBs who played a lot more years. I was hoping to see him come back home, but after reading some of y'alls comments I'm not sure. No, he is not going to come in and lead the league in rushing or anything like that but he could definately help in certain sets. Not to mention the help that he could be to younger players and the Good Lord knows that the Bengals need that. I have to agree with you though, I am not so sure that I would want Alexander to have to play with the Bengals. :thumb:

May 2, 200818 yr You listed 1. Come on...it's no secret RB's lose it big time after 30, there's just too much pounding that they take. I just wanted to get a list started. I in no way said it would be an extensive list, or a small list. The point being there are backs that excelled past the age of 30.

May 2, 200818 yr Thanks OLD, I just hate to see folks bash Shaun when there are some issues on his decline. I wouldn't mind see him retire and travel and speak. I've witness him doing that but I think he can still do it and if he wants to play I'm supporting him and using facts. I've met Shaun a couple of times and he really is the real deal. People in Bamanation really love him and want him to sign with a Southern team so they can see him play. Even if its on TV. Shaun called my sick son in 2000 when I called and just asked him to send a card. He wanted to speak to my kid. Later he sent my son some items. Just wanted a card.

DeDe Dorsey 21 carries 183 yards 8.7 yards per carry 45long 0 td's. 8.7 yards per carry has to intrigue someone to see what he could do if he got 15-20 touches a game. I am not talking about 30 carry a game guy, but my goodness let's see what this guy can do in a game.
