Well the Saudi's have said on 100 occasions there is plenty of crude...that's why they won't up demand. Supply and demand is a small part of it in reality. It's all manipulation of a commidity.. speculators are getting rich, big oil is getting rich, OPEC is getting rich.

JohnAnthony you are right that they have plenty of crude. But they aren't going to increase the supply (which is what I assume you meant).

 

It is a supply and demand issue. If we increase the supply of oil that we have here in America, prices will go down. The other alternative is to go take the oil from the Saudi's. Would you two prefer that?

 

How in the world would using the oil that we have in America not lower the prices? It is a supply and demand issue.

And we know those we put in charge of the common man will never change this because they are in it for the MONEY.

FWIW, those people who own the gas companies are the common man.

 

Also, do you blame that on Bush, the guy who wants to drill for more oil, which would increase the supply, and lower prices? Or for the environmentalist wacko's who would rather increase YOUR taxes as well as raise gas prices?

I'll tell you what drives me crazy. In Mt. Sterling yesterday, the Speedway was $3.95/gallon. The Shell, less than a half mile down the road was $3.75. How can this happen?

I can see why...There have been numerous times that a Speedway was 20 cents more expensive than a gas station 1/4 mile down the road.

I READ AN ARTICLE TODAY TOLD WHERE OIL WAS 28 BUCKS FOR A BAR. WHEN THE CURRENT LEADER OF THIS COUNTRY TOOK OVER. He stated that the admistration before him had no handle on this and he was going to do something about it. He sure has.

If anyone is counting that is TWICE within 6 months Bush had went to SA and asked for more oil and they said, sorry, no can do.

 

CCH.. there are a hundred smoke screens from our govt which will prevent drilling here, so to answer your question, yes I would love to get more oil from the Saudi's, cause our govt is not going to drill in the states.

 

I tell ya right now.. something very intersting is gonna happen. Once oil hits $150 and we get to 4.50 a gallon the US is going to cut off weapons sales to the Saudi's. We supply them with there high tech weapons, and remember they hate Iran just as much as we do. And as we all know Iran is speculated to be making big bombs.

 

We are about to see some crazy stuff. The US is going to flat out say produce a million more barrels a day (which would lower gas about .50 cents) or you get no weapons. So the Saudi's will have to decide to keep getting rich and worry about getting blown up or give us what we want... it is AMAZING what oil does my friends.
