Thank you Mr. Nets. This was my only point and it may be moot because Coach Parsley may not have applied. If a board policy to that effect was in place it is easily changed to accommodate the need. For instance, the change to allow a principal to coach. I was on a local school board for five years and Russell can and will hire whomever they choose, based solely on the person they want to hire.

I am sure that Ivan has had a say so in the JFL of Russell. That is part of the reason for his great football program.

 

:thumb: The youth leagues are the future of the athletics at the school on the varsity level.............any school.

I am sure whoever they hire will do fine, Russell always seems to have talent in the system. Good luck to whoever they hire.

 

I think that for there most part that you are correct. There are a couple of people that are already in the Russell system that jmo would be a huge mistake for Russell to keep them anywhere in their programs but I don't have a "dog in the fight" so to speak so good luck to the Russell girls program along with all other programs. (unless you are playing Raceland of course )

No dog in this fight but dont you think it would be a good idea to get this hire done.There is just 2 weeks of school left dont you think the young ladys would like to know who there coach is for next year. Sence middle school ball starts so early in the new school year. In my oppion haveing a head coach in place or not haveing one effects the future of the program.
