I feel bad for Woodson. I want him to get a fair shot and I don't feel he will in NY. Why did they go after another QB anyway?

Why would the Giants need Woodson? Do they just feel sorry for UK quarterbacks that drop in the draft?

 

They don't need him other than the fact that they might want to get him, make him a great backup and use him as trade bait.

He will still have a shot at making the team. David Carr is not locked in and neither is Wright. Heck, Woodson isn't even locked in. Other than Eli, no QB on the Giants roster is guaranteed a roster spot.
