April 27, 200818 yr I don't think thats the incident we've been referring to:sssh: No, HT showed me the one...
April 27, 200818 yr King Dunlap was a guy I saw at the Ryle Sports Fest many moons ago playing for Brentwood Academy. The dude is a freaking monster...
April 27, 200818 yr Good pick on Mario in the 7th round but the Bengals just got themselves another head case...
April 27, 200818 yr Woodyard will be signed as a UDFA quickly. I would love to see Pittsburgh pick him up, instant special team help.
April 28, 200818 yr The Giants have a pretty good scouting department, so they must have seen something they liked in him. In reality CB's and WR's have the easiest jobs in football regarding game prep and brain power.
April 28, 200818 yr Very hard to believe Woodyard wasn't picked. I figured him to be as much of a lock to be picked as Tamme and Woodson.
April 28, 200818 yr I love how Lamar Myles leaves early to go pro and hasnt been drafted he should of stayed one more year. I wonder who told him false information. Nobody did, I think there some other extenuating circumstances that made him feel he had no choice but to go.
April 28, 200818 yr Very hard to believe Woodyard wasn't picked. I figured him to be as much of a lock to be picked as Tamme and Woodson. I also thought Woodyard would be picked somewhere for sure. He'll be a guy that makes it as an UDFA...
April 28, 200818 yr Maybe a good 3rd down WR, or goal line situation with his size. But he isn't very fast 4.62 40. This will be the only time I compare the two, but Jerry Rice was around a 4.65 40.
April 28, 200818 yr I'm glad Woodyard didn't get drafted late. He now has a chance to choose the situation that is best for him.
April 28, 200818 yr I'm not sure why your feelings seem so hurt over this. The writing was on the wall for weeks... Weeks, heck, I seem to remember saying that I thought this was possible directly after the senior bowl. Of course all I heard was that "this conversation is laughable", yada, yada, yada. Was very suprised to not see Woodyard's name called in the late rounds. I actually like him as a developmental guy that could really contribute in 3 or so years once he bulks up or slims down. Kid makes plays, period.
