April 28, 200818 yr Plenty of teams had the chance to lock him up at the 3rd QB slot. They passed. I don't think the open market is very high on Woodson. If he's cut loose by the Giants, I think he'll do just fine on the Lexington business scene... :thumb: Beat me to it. If they wanted to sign him they would have drafted him in the numerous chances they had to do so.
April 28, 200818 yr Woodson will be playing in the NFL next year, on someone's roster. Most likely it will be with the Giants. Let me ask you this: How comfortable do you feel with Carr as your backup and Woodson as the #3? Yikes.........talk about guys who know how to take a sack.

Shouldn't he be back in Ft. Thomas by now with that line of thinking? :sssh:
April 28, 200818 yr Let me ask you this: How comfortable do you feel with Carr as your backup and Woodson as the #3? Yikes.........talk about guys who know how to take a sack. Let me ask you this: How many teams are comfortable with any of their backups? There is a reason they are backups. Heck, for that matter how many teams are comfortable with their starters? Plus, its not like Lorenzen evades the rush either. It's 3 guys that have been hit in their day, it just so happens Lorenzen is bigger than half the guys that hit him...

April 28, 200818 yr He also was on the practice squad for more than a couple years....... Pretty sure he went to NFL Europe first. Also, nobody really expected Jared to get drafted. As I have stated, Woodson was seen as a first rounder at one point.

Thomas by now with that line of thinking? :sssh: He was back in Ft Thomas the day he left UK. And he stayed there for a year. If Woodson catches a ring on the bench, good for Andre. Do we need to really go over the QB scrubs to prove nothing on title teams???
April 28, 200818 yr Woodyard will be signing with the Broncos... Colts were very interested in him as well.
April 28, 200818 yr Woodson will prove people wong IMO and make it in the league. I think he has the tools to be great and will prove that in the next few years. We will see who is right Lexingto business or at the least a 2nd string QB.
April 28, 200818 yr He also was on the practice squad for more than a couple years....... Lorenzen was on the "Did not report" list ( I think that is the name) his first year. He did not show up because he "thought he was released". I'm not sure what happened, but he eventually came back to the Giants and earned the 3rd string position, and eventually the backup position. If he was on the practice squad, it was no more than 1 year.
April 28, 200818 yr Let me ask you this: How comfortable do you feel with Carr as your backup and Woodson as the #3? Yikes.........talk about guys who know how to take a sack. Eli is durable, so I'm not that worried. Eli separated his shoulder on his throwing arm in week 1, and played in week 2.

Do we need to really go over the QB scrubs to prove nothing on title teams??? Didn't really answer my question, but okay. We all know what happened with Lorenzen. Way to dance....
