It was no secret that the Coach, the administration, board and parents had a rocky year. It was also no secret that if given the right circumstance, Coach would go elsewhere.

I have heard David Hensley from Dunbar will be named the new coach. However it has been announced yet, anyone else??

 

There has been some confusion on whcih Hensley is being mentioned. Steve Hensley previously coached at Ludlow (I beleive), lives in NKY and is currently teaching/coaching at Taylor High in OH.

 

I would not beleive that Dave Hensley from Dunbar would be interested in Ludlow.

Why would Hensley leave and come back? The pay in Ohio is better. I don't think Taylor football is anything to get excited about, but its probably easier to get kids out for the team than it is at Ludlow.

 

Hensley was a good fit when Ludlow really needed someone like him. I hope they can pull another rabbit out of the hat. Ludlow football is close to 90 years old and I'd hate to see it die on the vine.

Not suprised by him going he played for Ryle so I figured he would head back to coach in a Boone County School.

Apparently, it has just been announced that Hensley from Dumbar just resigned. So maybe there is some truth to this.

Don't think that will happened he resigned to spend more time with his family. He wants to be an assistant not a head coach. He said on Sundays he was spending time with coaches in meeting when he should have been in church with his family, so it sounds like he will not be a head coach again until his kids get a little older.

Very true I know someone that has done this also.

So any updates in this?

If I'm not mistaken, the job has to be posted for 30 days. If thats the case, I wouldn't expect any news for awhile.

Oh I see. Well then, I hope Ludlow finds someone who is qualified and will keep the tradition going down in Ludlow.
