I'm not sure about all the others. I know that 1 of them is going to Cooper with Borchers. My guess would be that the others will wait to see what the new coach is looking for and if they're needed. There are some quality assistant coaches on board and I would hope that they would be retained.

I have talked with Jordan a couple of times over the past few months and he said he would return as long as the new coach hired him back. What is going on with the other Ludlow assistants?

But it could also make it difficult to field a coaching staff. At this point in the year most coaches have their staffs in place. Unless the new coach brings in some loyal coaches it could be difficult to fill out the assistant coaches positions. How many paid assistant coaches does Ludlow traditional have?

 

Off the wall, but is Rick Hornsby teaching at Ludlow? He coached at CCH many years ago with Coach Ray. He could be a good temporary Head Coach or a solution to the timing of all of this. I may be way off base with this idea, but just trying to think outside of the box.

Yes thats right. I have known Jordan as a friend for a long time and I would always ask him if he was going to go back. He has a very busy schedule. The conversations have only changed since Borchers left.

Hornsby is teaching at Ludlow, and he was an assistant varsity coach last year. I really don't believe that he would apply for the job though, he seemed pretty happy being an assitant.
