April 20, 200818 yr Not until they get rid of Griffey and/ or Dunn. They don't wanna get rid of Dunn. For 13 million a year you get 40 home runs.

April 20, 200818 yr I would be open for a trade of Griffey for a young arm. They will probably consider that after the next 4 home runs.
April 20, 200818 yr 1st inning Brantley corrected Marty on a strike call. It was sort of muffled but I know I heard Mart drop a bomb, and told Brantley not to talk over him ever again. Just wondering if anyone else caught it What did Brantley say? Go Cubs?

Just wondering if anyone else caught it The one time I don't listen to the broadcast, DARNIT! It doesn't surprise me, I remember my Uncle telling me a story about watching a football game on a wild feed from satellite. Keith Jackson was corrected during the game, after they cut to commercial Keith let out a foul mouth tirade against the guy he was calling the game with.
April 20, 200818 yr I'm starting to think my dream of playing for the Reds might still be possible even if I haven't played in about 10 years or so. They are playing horrible. The game after Griff hits his homer I'm bringing Bruce up. I'm also putting Votto at 1st full time. If Edwin doesn't start doing something then I'm moving Keppy to 3rd when our SS gets back. 1: Patterson CF 2: Keppy 3rd 3: Phillips 2nd 4: Dunn LF 5: Bruce RF 6: Votto 1B 7: Gonz SS 8: Catcher 9: Pitcher That's a solid lineup! Phillips can be moved around IMO along with somebody like Keppy. If they keep struggling at leadoff then Phillips might be an option.
April 20, 200818 yr Hall has had the most success against Cincinnati’s Aaron Harang (1-2, 3.33), who will make his second start against Milwaukee this month. The Brewers’ third baseman is hitting .390 (16-for-41) with three homers and nine RBIs against the right-hander. Harang earned his only win of 2008 after limiting the Brewers to a run and five hits over five innings of a 4-1 victory on April 10. Yovani Gallardo is expected to make his season debut on Sunday when the Brewers go for their first three-game road sweep of the Cincinnati Reds since 2001. Gallardo picked up his first career road win against the Reds on July 24 last year, allowing a run and six hits over 6 2-3 innings of a 5-3 victory. Overall, Gallardo was 4-2 with a 4.47 ERA in nine road starts, and his nine total victories ranked him fourth among rookies. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/preview?gid=280420117
April 20, 200818 yr Taking a look at the lineup a glaring hole is apparent. Let's take a look a the " heart" of the order 3-4-5-6. 3. Phillips .269 4. Jr. .266 5. Dunn .200 6. E-5 .241 Throw in a .196 leadoff hitter and you have the equation that equals .400-.450 baseball.

I think 3-6 will pick it up, but that leadoff hitter has to go! :madman:

April 20, 200818 yr Author RHP David Weathers today went on the 15-day disabled list with ulnar nerve irritation in his right elbow.
April 20, 200818 yr They don't wanna get rid of Dunn. For 13 million a year you get 40 home runs. He's going to have to pick up the pace just a little to get to 40.
