Don't take it too harsh, these polls are just good to look at. Harrison is the better team as of April 10th... Probably getting a little pub from last season still.

 

Should be a great 10th region final with those 2 teams.

I do not understand how Covington Catholic is number 17 in the state. But i guess you have to throw in somebody from the 9th. There are about 7 teams that can compete for the 9th region championship it looks like right now. Cov Cath is over rated though.

 

They started out slow but are working out the kinks. They're just starting to play well.

I would like to see Conner recieve some votes. They are playing very well right now and probably the hottest team in NKY.

Betsy Layne is only 4 points from cracking the top 25. They are 1 and 6 on the season, but it gets better. They have been shut out 3 times this season. Red Bird hasn't played a game yet, according to riherds scoreboard.

 

If the ranking system isn't taken seriously and done more accurately it is a waste of time.

I agree anything can happen between now and the Regional. Harrison and Clark may be the favorites, but there are several hurdles to cross before these 2 meet for any championship. If the make it to the Regional they could draw in the same side of the bracket which would make Scott, Brossart, Campbell (depending on who represents) and Montgomery all feel good.

Ryle is 2-6. Any team with a .250 winning % should not be up there.

 

True, but you missed his point....Dixie only has 1 win, against Holmes.

 

At least Ryle beat a ranked team. But neither Ryle, Dixie or Cov Cath are among the top 25 this year, so far. But the season is young.
