April 7, 200818 yr Uh...Thompson is in the Hall Of Fame. ...and so is Walton. That's mostly because of their college achievements, they aren't in the NBA Hall of Fame and for good reason. There is no NBA Hall of Fame only the Naismith Hall of Fame that recognizes all basketball, not just the NBA.
April 7, 200818 yr Here's one that no one has mentioned yet: Bo Kimble. He average 26.4 PPG in college over 3 seasons at Loyola Marymount including 35 PPG his last year. He also shot .407 from 3 pt range. In the NBA he only lasted 3 seasons and averaged 5.5 PPG in 105 games and only shot .291 from 3 pt. range.

April 9, 200818 yr If I have looked over his name I apologize, but a guy whos NBA career really did not add up to how good he was in college was: Glenn Robinson-Purdue I believe he averaged something like 28 points his senior year at Purdue.
April 9, 200818 yr ^ One of my very favorite things about that Duke team, was that they just kept battling, they got swept by Carolina, but htey played pretty nasty defense. In the Regional Final in Knoxville, Duke was ranked #6, Purdue #3, and Antonio Lang drew the defensive matchup against Robinson....Lang, did awesome, even scoring 19 points himself. "The Big Dog" went 6-22 from the field and he was dogged for the entire 40 minutes that he played.
