April 1, 200818 yr That is another aspect that I think is bad for Scotty. He will not learn how to play solid D, which is one part of his game that needs work. I really believe he would turn into a better ballplayer for the next level if he came to BCG's team. Agreed. When watching him play in high school though, it is obvious he could care less about that.
April 1, 200818 yr I do believe it will be a better fit for him at UT. They don't play defense near as well as UK. But I still think he has a long ways to go effort-wise, to play for UT. Had he came to UK it would have either been a tremendous success story or an utter failure. No in between.

I have no dog in this fight, I wish UK could've gotten both of them...who wouldn't. If you're referring to people who think Miller is a better player than Liggins, that's a legit argument whether you're from Mason County or not. It's not like we're comparing a walk-on and a 5-star here.

April 1, 200818 yr Had he came to UK it would have either been a tremendous success story or an utter failure. No in between. That's exactly what I've been saying all along. No doubt he is extremely talented with a tremendous upside....but he would have had to undergo a major transformation to play for BCG.
