PRP's Adam Delph to walk-on at UK

There going to half to put a second row of chairs for all of these walk-ons.

Kentucky will be the only Division 1 team with an entire media guide dedicated to the walk ons.

Kentucky's walkons could win the OVC next season.

IMO Some of the current walk on's will be walking off next year.

They will have a good practice squad. Too bad most of these kids won't see any playing time when they could be contributing elsewhere. BCG must be a great salesman to get all these guys who have been mentioned on BGP to walk-on. IMO, the only time they will be on the floor is during practice. All are good players and could play at lower divisions.

First of all, Congrats to Delph. He is a good player and I wish him the best in this endeavor.

In other news, Happy Osborne no longer has to go to high school games to recruit, he will be spending his time waiting for the KY All-Stars who have walked on at UK to get tired of watching and want to actually play.

I don't know why people on this site dislike the walk-ons. This class of walk-ons is better than the current ones, and it can only help the team, whether by improving them in practice or even one of them becoming a contributor. It's not like these guys are taking up a lot of BCG's time.

It's not that I don't like walk-ons, it's just I have heard of so many players that are rumored to be walking on at UK I don't see where you could put all of these players.

I think it is great, just don't see how BCG is selling this to all of these good players.

It's simple most every kid that grew up in Ky & who does not have the opportunity to go high D1 would be living out their dream.

From the other thread, UKPat had a quote.

But from re-reading, I don't know why I got that vibe. Guess I was in a weird mood.
