April 1, 200818 yr He will retire at Louisville. He has got it good there. I think it can be argued that he had it good in other places as well, not just UK, and that never stopped him from leaving. However, I think he is happy where he is and finally not looking for the next challenge. I think his next career move is retirement, whenever that may be.

When that job didn't work out, he returned to college basketball, his true love, and took the best available job at the time, and perhaps one of the five best jobs in the country, all the while making a tremendous amount of money. Maybe it's just me, but hasn't Pitino always made the best move possible? Who on this site wouldn't do the exact same thing?
