This is NKU's 2nd, last was in 2000.

CONGRATS!

The Norse came back from a three point deficit at the half. :thumb:

Congratulation's to the Norse Women's Basketball of NKY - What a game!!!:dancingpa; :dancingpa;:dancingpa

I watched a few minutes of this game. Good game by NKU. I was shocked at the missed call towards the end when the girl got shoved out of bounds and they just called her out of bounds for a turnover.

They were down 9 with less than 10 minutes to go I think. I was kinda worried about them at that point but then they just took over down the stretch.

WAY TO GO NORSE!!!!!!

I'm in such shock right now that I don't even know what to say!!!

I just wanted to jump on here and tell everyone that the team is scheduled to arrive back at Regents Hall tomorrow at noon for a community celebration and another bigger one that will be scheduled at some point during the week.

I'll post more about things once they become available.

Angela Healy was just named the Tournament's Most Outstanding Player.

Down 12 at one point in the 2nd!!! Awesome. So proud of Angela Healy!!! Nancy Winstel is dead on about her. She was our team leader when she played for me and is a fine young lady!!!

I think you can change your location now. For the better!

It is definitely a great time to be involved with the athletic program!!!

This morning, when I left the softball field to go to the baseball field in Florence, I told our baseball/softball SID that I had a feeling that we'd go 5-0 today with the baseball winning 2, softball winning 2 and the women's basketball team winning it all.

Well the baseball team beat Kentucky Wesleyan 10-0 & 3-0, the softball team beat UMSL 2-1 (11) & 3-2.....AND THE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM WON!!!!!!!!!

Hats off to the Nebraska-Kearney folks for playing "My Old Kentucky Home" for the girls just a few minutes ago.

The radio crew is still doing their broadcast, you can here it at http://www.nku.edu/~athletics/0708%20broadcast%20page.html

Just did it.

I'm so proud of everyone involved with this team. They're nothing but the best...they're great ballplayers but more importantly, they're even better people.

That's awesome! I was just repeating what the commentator said. I didn't know the comeback was even more dramatic!

Congrats

Makes this NKU alum proud.

Great job Norse. You had me worried early in the 2nd.

Congrats

Makes this NKU alum proud.
