Great job Lady Norse.....Congrats to Angela Healy!!!!!:dancingpa:dancingpa

It is just the Norse. They dropped "Lady" a while back.

Below is a note that was posted in a link on NKU's main page:

The Northern Kentucky community is invited to join the NKU campus in celebrating the accomplishments of the 2007-08 Norse women's basketball team on Wednesday, April 2, from 4-5 p.m. in NKU's University Center Ballroom.

The Norse defeated South Dakota 63-58 on March 29 in Kearney, Neb., to win their second NCAA Division II national championship in nine years. NKU also advanced to the national title game in 2003.

Come show your support to the 2008 NCAA Division II national women's basketball champions - the NKU Norse - Kentucky's ONLY two-time national women's champion in any sport.
