Macon was said to have an offer from UK for football. Whether he still holds that offer I'm not sure. He is still a top 10 talent on the hardwood and a prospect for hoops.

 

Sanford, I have seen heights listed 6-1 thru 6-3 and 6-2 was one I saw at the Sweet 16 and it looked about right from where I was sitting. You can substitute 6-3 if you'd like.

I've only seen him play twice, but I would think KY Wesleyan would LOVE to keep him close to home??? Maybe EKU? Maybe G-town or other teams in the mid-south? Like I said, I haven't seen him enough to form a solid opinion. I just thought his play was superb and I was very impressed.

Arrez Henderson's Defense - Holding Slone and Sanford to sub par games was key to Holmes success.

Arrez Henderson's Jumper - He passed up a LOT of open shots during the tournament and allowed Darius to basically play a one man zone in the finals. I don't remember him passing up open shots in the state tournament last year.

Darius Miller - as if his stock needed to go up, he was the most dominant player and stepped up his game in the times they needed him most.

Turning their record completely around and reaching the Sweet 16 before losing to nationally ranked Lexington Catholic. Finishing 2nd in one of the country's most prestigious tournaments (King of the Bluegrass) and performing at a high level with more college coaches on hand than the Sweet 16.

7th Region - Winning both the King of the Bluegrass (Male) and having Manual finish 3rd by knocking off a nationally ranked team from Georgia and out-duelling top 10 nationally ranked player in guard Noel Johnson in a 109 - 106 overtime win. FYI, the stock and stock down game is kind of played off the latest performances. I think what Plato has in mind is strictly giving the stock up and down based on this week's tournament.

 

Using that criteria, I'd given the 7th region a stock down. Your information about the 7th this year only strengthens my call that they underperformed this week.

Sorry, I wouldn't put a whole a lot into the Sweet 16 alone and neither do college recruiters. For some teams, it was only a single game (one and done). Why would any one drop a season's worth of credit just for a single game or two or three games?
