Cooper High is going straight to varsity play, is that correct?

As I said there does seem to be an abundance of names floating around. I've heard a few that make plenty of sense and 1 or 2 that make absolutely no sense at all. I guess we will all find out soon enough.

I heard they hired someone yesterday. Does anyone know if that's true.

Where exactly is Cooper at?

On Longbranch Rd near Camp Ernst Rd .Which is also near Central Park .

That's a good question. Kids that choose to go there won't be held out of sports will they?

Kids that will be attending Cooper will be based on where they live. Students will not have to sit out or miss anytime because they have to go to the new school.

Will there be teams for all the usual sports? If not, can they play at their previous school? Havent most of the schools playing schedules already been established for the coming fall?

 

It would be sad to be a junior or senior who has been playing for an established team to have to leave for a new team. Most likely the new teams will not be competetive.

My understanding is they will participate in all varsity sports .They will play a football varsity schedule . The unfortunate thing is the kids who will be transferring may not have the chance to work out with a the team until the school opens . I understand that the kids moving from Ryle to Cooper have been told not to come back to the weight room by Coach Warner .He does not want them there since they will not be going to that school . I hope this is not the case for the KIDS sake .

He has not told them not to come to weights - some of the boys have chosen not to participate. Some of the boys going to Cooper participated in Spring Ball at Ryle.
