March 16, 200818 yr Author If he can get to the sweet 16, he may be gone in a few weeks. I think he could be gone with out winning any, if the proposal suits him and if he wins one an even bigger proposal may come his way. Just my opinion, but he may be one of the most underated coaches around.
March 16, 200818 yr If you have ever been to WKU facilities, I don't know why they can't win more there. If I was a recuit in KY why would you go to EKU or Morehead. As for Horn, work this for more money and keep bringing in the Lee's. They are close to Ill., Ind., Ark., Tenn., et al.. Continue to bring in the talent and turn that place into a Memphis. IT can be done.
March 17, 200818 yr Actually, I had heard that the heat was on Horn this year to make it to the Tourney. He has had MUCH better teams in the past and just couldn't win the big game (or beat South Alabama). He is a great coach and I think he could be gone as well.

Well, Pelphrey was at USA for a while, so its not all bad...
March 29, 200818 yr It may depend on his love for WKU. I know he played there and all, and there is a precedent for not leaving a "mid-major" in Few at Gonzaga. Kind of hard to gauge really.
March 29, 200818 yr I've been told that Horn isn't particuarly well-liked in Bowling Green. He's certainly had some success there, but I don't know if there will be too many tears shed if he leaves for greener pastures.
