As far as Belisle goes, he needs to have better outings than the one he had today. Right-hander Matt Belisle gave up seven runs on eight hits and two walks in three innings. Kent Mercker pitched a scoreless inning that ended when the lefty induced Rodriguez to hit into a double play. Josh Roenicke kept his spring ERA at 0.00 with a perfect inning.

Baseballguy Posted March 18, 2008 Author Posted March 18, 2008 Not a real good day for Fogg. Starter Josh Fogg gave up six runs, three earned, in three innings in his latest rotation audition. Fogg allowed five hits, including Bautista's homer, with one walk and one strikeout. Marcus McBeth allowed one earned run over two innings with two hits and one walk. Bill Bray had another scoreless outing, working two hitless innings with one walk and two strikeouts. Mike Lincoln pitched one perfect inning.
