I just read on another thread that Dale was practicing with the baseball team on the same field!!! What, in the name of Homer Rice, is going on up there? Don't you know that these two sports cannot coexist in Ft. T? What if one of the FB players sneaks over and steals a base? Or an infielder "punts" a ball hit to him? The ramifications are mind boggling!!!!

I don't know if it's true or not, but I heard that one of the younger players got confused and charged the mound and sacked the pitcher, to say the least the pitcher was surprised.

I also heard about the offensive lineman that heard the coach yell that it was time for hitting practice and showed up at the batting cage and thought is was a "cage match". Not pretty at all.

No. That is what happened to the catcher when he was guarding home plate and the umpire was holding a football that mistakenly was kicked to the backstop.
