March Gladness/Sadness/Madness Late-Niters Thread

Featured Replies

Back in the day, went to a hooch party. A girl who had a little too much to drink got sick. She totally freaked out screaming she was puking up blood, and made here friends take her to the hospital. I don't think her mom and dad appreciated that phone call.

One of my best friends was a pledge in our fraternity. They had a "rollout" where the pledges came out at midnight to the fraternity house and got grilled on the history of the fraternity they were supposed to learn. The pledges had their heads down out back with their hoods pulled up and were being asked questions. One of our buddies shot a gun up in the air and my best friend fell over screaming. We were freaking out thinking he had been shot. He was balled up and hadn't been shot but we thought he was having a heart attack. He is a REALLY tough kid so him balled up screaming was scary. We finally took him to the hospital and waited neverously in the waiting room. The Dr. came out and said your buddy is full of crap. We said we knew that and the Dr. said "no he really is full of crap". Turned out he was constipated and locked up so he couldn't get out of the ball he was in. Talk about not living one down! We still give him a hard time 10 years later.

Jeez. No posts in this thread for two days? That's pretty weak.

Definitely is. I guess we are actually posting in threads of consequence.

Maybe that, but it's also completely weird that since I started working different hours back in June, I'm rarely up late enough to post in this thread. But in the handful of times I'm actually up late anymore, nobody else is up. Then again, I'm probably rambling and making little sense, as I have been up since 8 a.m. and am beat down from working all day. I think my butt is still numb from sitting on that hard floor all day.

Great first week of BBall.

You can say that again. This years tourney is already killing last years.

After a slow day 1, the last 3 were top notch...

But nowhere near the magnificent splendor that is conference tournaments.

In the context of what the thread stated, I stand by it 10000%. I like Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of Championship week better than Thursday and Friday of the NCAA. It's better basketball and more fun for me to watch. I'm sure that has to do with how much I watch during the regular season while you are dusting and painting toenails or whatever it is you are in to... :p
