Top returning players in NKY

Featured Replies

Scooter will probably be one of the faster players in nky this upcoming year but I have to agree with your post especially the last part.

Very good point!

Regardless of what his time is ... he is definitely one of the fastest players in the area.

Lets just hope he will be at Conner.

I was told he doesn't play that much at Conner, is this true? I would think w/a kid this fast, I could find somewhere he could help my team.

UK's 2 fastest RBs run a 4.2. If he runs a 4.3 he should have SEC coaches all over him. That is a very fast time for NK highschool football.

Lincoln Adams ran a 4.3 40 and he did not have SEC coaches all over him.

Probably because Lincoln Adams didn't have the physical build or play against the competition that some would have liked to see him compete against.

If I'm not mistaken Scooter will be a senior next year. He'll see more time then.

The numbers don't back this up.

Lincoln was fast ... but again ... for a guy like him who ran track ... I just looked at results from his senior year ... and he never broke 11.00 in the 100 meter dash.

Again ... I think everyone needs to realize that, if these kids were really running 4.5 or better, there would all kinds of coaches all over them. Lincoln in particular--because he was tall enough .. and could have put on weight.

I just don't see why people need to "deflate" these times. There may be one, two kids in NKY who can run a legit 4.5 with full automatic timing. That may even be stretching it.

At UK camp last year Roger Herthel from Lloyd was timed by a UK coach at a 4.5 after 3 practices in one day. Roger is probably in the top 3 fastest players in NKY.

There needs to be size and speed.

Miles Simpson, will be a top 5 player in the NKY for the next two years. He is probably the fastest player in the NKY.

The Collinsworth kid from Ft. Thomas might have a little something to say about that.:thumb:

I agree..Collinsworth is VERY fast.

Good thing he has alot of his mother's gene's. The Bankemper's were very athletic.

Josh Connor ran a 4.5 at a recent combine in Cincinnati. Please include this Senior in the conversations! Besides...you only have to be faster than the guys chasing you! (lol)

I was going to include him when I agreed on Collinsworth. I think Highlands as a whole is loaded with a lot of speed. Can't wait to see them in action this fall.
