Probably because Lincoln Adams didn't have the physical build or play against the competition that some would have liked to see him compete against.

I saw him run all over Beechwood his Sr. year and they had a very good team. It was an unbelievable performance regardless of the overall schedule being weak.

Collinsworth ran a 4.65 at the Underarmour Combine. Regardless of that time, he is a very good corner.

Here are some results if you want to check it out:

To assume that a player runs a 4.3 or even a 4.4, would be unfair to the kid. It sets unreasonable expectations and basically sets him up to fail when he is timed by a college or combine.

To put it in perspective, at the under armour combine in Cincy May 18th, there was one sub-4.4 forty out of 200 or so runners. In the Nation at this combine, there are only 14 sub-4.4 out of thousands of kids.

Thanks for the links. I was very impressed with Josh Conner's times in the 40 and the shuttle run. How about Austin Collinsworth's standing broad jump at 9'9? WOW !!

I cant wait to watch Conner and Crawford in the backfield next season at Highlands. :dancingpa
