Monday- Girls 1st Round- hosted by district champions

Tuesday- Boys 1st Round- hosted by district champions

Wednesday- Girls Semifinals at one site

Thursday- Boys Semifinals at one site

Friday- Girls Championship at the same site as Wednesday

Saturday- Boys Championship at same site as Thursday

Have a big snow and look what happens................. the football coaches wanting to run the region tournament!

I will get back to my football video and leave this alone.

Most districts could not hold the first round because of the crowd. MSU is fine in the 16th for me. Of course , I only live about 2 mi from the MSU.

Remember most first round games don't have that big of a crowd. It would be similar to regular season games.

With the snow storm and the 10th region tourney talk, thought everyone would get a kick out of this. Always good when the football coaches start planning the basketball tournament.   ?

Correct. Reminiscent of the Royals traveling to Tampa to take on the Buccaneers in 2003. Good times!

That was as good as it gets. Love our fans. They thought we could beat anyone. The 2003 Royals were awful good. The Bluebirds got us by a TD in the snow.

This was voted on a few years ago.  Almost all 10th Region AD’s want the full tournament to be played at one site.  Fans want to be able to watch every game of the tournament and not have to choose which first round game to go to. I think a majority of kids, coaches, and fans agree on playing the entire tournament at one venue.

This is not always the case.

If it isn't broken, don't fix it.  Just leave thing as they stand, I have yet to find a way to be at two different locations at the same time.

Chief and the Mason County folks always did a great job with the regional tournament. Coached in boys and girls regional there. Really a great experience for the fans, players, and coaches!
