February 28, 200818 yr I guess they are trying to make more money to spend more money, Im willing to pay 7 instead of 5 to get a winner in Cincinnati. Though with the attendance you would think they might want to bring in more of a consistent fan base before uping the ticket price.

If ownership is willing to spend the money they did in the offseason I'm willing to spend a couple of extra dollars during the season.

My family typically spends 4 times the cost of the tickets by the 4th inning. $7,,,,give me a break. You guys sound like you rifling through your couch for enough change to eek out a ticket. If that's the case, cut down a couple of soft drinks a week and you can even invite a friend.

I had to look it up, but the Cubs do offer 10 and 11 dollar tickets. Obviously those prices go up with more important or "bigger" games.
February 28, 200818 yr I bought the power pack this past weekend, i get opening day, Red Sox, Indians and Cubs series, I didnt mind spending the money. I think it's worth it.

For pure entertainment I must agree. Thats a strong package. Hopefully the outcomes of these games don't diminish your enjoyment. Personally I think it will be another season that I will not donate my coin to.
February 28, 200818 yr Come on guys, $7 a ticket isn't bad. It's the $6.50 beer that gets me. But even that isn't too bad. Detroit's beers are $8.50 if you buy them from a beer vendor, $8 if you actually walk up to the concession stands. Milwaukee still has the cheapest beer of any MLB ballparks I've been to.
