Fun to watch for sure, but really struggling to shoot the ball of late. As of now, I can't see them winning the region.

With Elliott having to come back from being down 9 at halftime, and with Rose Hill frittering away just about all of a 9 point lead late, I'd say that the 16th may be a little more wide open than a lot of folks thought!

Rose Hill has struggled off and on this year, they can't be considered a runaway favorite. East Carter has been coming on strong and Bath Co has had a solid year. It's been wide open for months, where have you been??

I could be wrong but personally I don't see Elliott getting beat by anyone not named East Carter. RH is capable yeah, but IMHO can't do it again. And I just don't see a lesser team beating them. The heart of those kids is tremendous.

Absolutely, very lackluster first half for Elliott tonight. Even if it was for the most part without two starters.

I'd love to see the following matchups:

 

Bath County vs. Greenup County

Elliott County vs. Rowan County

Rose Hill vs. East Carter

Raceland vs. Ashland

I do a blind draw each year for my own entertainment. I have gotten it right a few times, but more often I miss. Here is how it drew out for me tonight when I got back from the East/Elliott game.

Elliott v Greenup

Raceland v East Carter

Bath Co v Ashland

 

I have no idea if that will be how it is, just how it drew out for me.
