He needs the support from the community because he has not been seen in a positive light! :sleep::sleep::sleep: Anybody that can't tell he was being sincere in that video probably just has a problem with the guy and can't get past that.

Amazing BTW, if it was a show, don't you think he would have went in there waiving a huge check around, like the super sized checks they give away on tv? He simply went in there, made a speech from his heart, even started crying, and then at the end, quietly said "I don't know if it will do any good, but I would like to donate $10,000" then he put the mic down. I think you should watch the video again if you think that was a show.

I don't care what reason was behind it, it is still going to be helping out these kids and that is ALL THAT MATTERS.

You could not be more wrong and its obvious that you are uninformed about BCG character or the other acts of generosity he has done since at UK. He is humble, genuine and down to earth good man.

Oh please please please let this rumor be true! If Billy G needs some help packing I'll be happy to help and rent him a U-Haul out of town! No! I still think it was a bad hire by UK and I believe he is a bad character guy and representative of our state. I can't agree with alot of his off the court behavior, and his arrogance. I have tried to give him a fair shake really, but I guess I can't. I know the days of Tubby are long gone,but I just hope that UK fans are happy. Some are and are in BCG's corner and that is good he needs that. However I'm obviously not and I hate to say it I got disappointed when he won last night. I actually get so frustrated with BCG I have quit watching most UK games. IF it stays BCG I'll jump ship!!!:bunny: JT has a national championship and a winning record in BCS bowls will see if you Billy Boy will even make it to .500 and get an invite to the NIT and finish up a stellar 1st season at UK. Jim Tressell should keep his job he is 31-4 in his last 35 games. 4 losses all to BCS teams and 3 of them won the national championship. (Texas,Florida, LSU,)! I'm glad the kids got the money and they deserve that. I just wish BCG's character off the court would reflect what a coach at UK should be IMO! Yes I'm admitting it that I personally want him to fail as bad as most fans are pulling for him to succeed! I honestly haven't watched UK play in weeks because I personally can't stand seeing him on the sidelines. I have met BCG when he was the coach at UTEP and I feel the same way about him then as I do now. I was in a tourney with him in El Paso while I was at UAB I spent several days in his company and I along with some others developed some good friends on the trip and some dislikes and BCG was a dislike!
