Garrard is doing a good job keeping things quiet, if they got anything going on. I can't believe the AM NEWS hasn't wrote a story predicting a coach yet. That is not like them in this offseason of coaching moves.

Not sure of your point? Did I imply that Burnett is from Ky? Are you saying it is one of Burnett's current assistant's in Alabama that is applying at GC and not Brett? Help!

Thanks for the updates. The Burnett name is new to me. I had not heard that one. Glad gnat has a reliable source. Someone needed to be talking to the insiders to see what was up. Is there any news on a timeline yet?

Just heard from a former teacher at Garrard that the interviews are being scheduled for March 8 or 15. Appears that some candidates are from out of state and schedules have been difficult to match. Still no actual names to refer to.

It is being kept private. I'm not sure why people think there haven't been interviews...who in charge of the process at Garrard has actually said that? From a recent discussion with the athletic director, I'm under the assumption that a coach will be hired within the next ten days.

That is good to hear. Can't believe there are no names being dropped though. Must be someone from outside the program/area.

The Central Record was dropping lots of names. It would be interesting to know who the source is for that info. Stuff about a coach who has won state titles in other locations. A former E-town coach. A current coach who grew up in the Rockcastle system. That's a wide variety. The Central Record either has an inside source or is just fishin' for info. My guess is there is a leak somewhere.
