Parents have no job yet and he is not practicing. They may be leaving the Central Kentucky area to find a job somewhere else. From what I hear, Coach Goldsmith is having problems locating a job in the school system and his wife isn't having much luck either.

Both parents are teachers and as of Friday last week neither have a job in the school system.

Boone is not practicing with the team because his dad and mom have not found a job yet and are considering making another move back home or to somewhere else. Billy has a lot of connections in northeastern and eastern kentucky and is sure to find a job somewhere up there.

Preston took his name out of the running 2 weeks ago. Source is really not that solid, it looks like.

The candidate they are talking about that is going to Lincoln is Cooper. He's not a candidate.

Are interviews being scheduled for the end of this next week? Anyone know. I also hear that Doug Preston took his name out of the running last week.

Why would Cooper go to Lincoln county other than he is from there. Settles calls the Defense at Bullitt East and he needs a offensive coordinator at Lincoln and Cooper is not an offensive mind.

I think coach Settles is being pursued by Garrard County now also.

I think Bobby Knight has as good of a shot being named the head coach as some of those mentioned on this post.

Cole is a great high school player. Probably one of the best receivers to play the high school game. He will never play at Vandy. This is the SEC not district football.

Predictions. Rivalry game. Should be a pretty good game.

Just read on http://www.amnews.com that Casey County coach Andy Stephens said that they got beat by a team that was not that much better than them. I don't know what game he was watching but 55-7 isn't a sign of two evenly matched teams. Looks like to me Garrard County is just that much better than Casey and not what Coach Stephens had to say.

I think Somerset benefits a lot. They move up in class and that gets them away from Danville. I think they looked at things and said that 3A could be the easiest road this year and the coming years and said we want to move up. I don't think Somerset wants anymore of Danville. They have had enough in the past. I believe Somerset sees their best shot at going far in the playoffs in class 3A.

Has anyone heard who are the leading candidates for this opening? Does anyone know when this job will be filled?
