Now that's funny no matter what county you're from.

Playing this game at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon in an old gym with sparse fans probably doesnt make for much excitement.

Actually Highlands does have a pretty good basketball program over there in Fort Thomas. I'm glad Ryle gets excitement over beating Highlands JV team. Practically any top 10 team in nky is going to beat Highlands when not only Simpson but also Kowolonek and Mcgraw are out as well. Make it to the region tournament then try to talk about another team's program. Ryle faithful have no room to talk about a team's basketball program.

Perhaps you should petition the KHSAA to expunge the score since you could only field a JV team. Or better yet, perhaps you should have the KHSAA ban Ryle from playing your team since we have no room to talk about our program, let alone play yours.

Highlands isn't my team. I'm simply stating that Ryle shouldn't get too excited over this win considering 3 of Highlands best players were out with injuries and they basically played with Eaton and Hurtt and then a bunch of sophomores.

 

Also for a team like Ryle, who hasn't made the region tournament since Doellman was there to say another program isn't that good when they've been to the region tournament every year for the past probably 10 years? Well thats quite comical. Highlands doesn't have players quitting every year in the middle of the season....:sssh:

40 Post on here making every excuse under the sun as to why Highlands lost, and one or two giving congrats to the Raiders and you just can't handle it.

Bottom line. Ryle played better then Highlands. Ryle won.
