February 11, 200818 yr To the Members: If you have a daughter and someone made A comment Like this about them would you be MAD/UPSET???? Whether your a Political Candidate or Not!!! I sure would and If you say that you wouldn't want to protect her then your not much of a Parent!!! IMO I think many of the members realize that your question is moot since there was no attack on the albeit 27-year-old child. This was a 100% shot against Hillary. So tell me why I should be upset.
February 11, 200818 yr Hillary could have made a simple statement about how inappropriate the statement was, then dropped it. She'd have made herself look above it. Instead, she dove right into the muck. THIS I agree with.

February 12, 200818 yr So If you were running in an Election and I said your were pimping out your daughter that wouldn't upset you... I agree. Someone says that about my daughter and I am perturbed. I am on the Clintons side. I feel so dirty typing that.:D

February 12, 200818 yr I just betcha if any of you or I were running for a local office and someone made that kind of remark about one of our children we'd be spit firing mad and we all know it. It makes no difference who the child, adult or not, belongs to, no one should allow someone to say that about any of them. The only reason that some don't think that it was "too" bad of a remark is she just happens to be Hillary's daughter. If someone had made that remark about McCain's or Obama's daughter there would be an outcry for the person who said it's head. He shoudn't have said it........but it was aimed at Hillary. I have never made any bones about my dislike for "W" but even I would think that it was horrible if someone said that about one of his girls. Why did we not hear Hillary's outcry about her husband taking advantage of Monica Lewisnsky a few years back. She was younger than Chelsea and I just can't recall Mrs. Clinton caring much about that young lady's feelings.

Additionally, I see very few people applauding Sen. Clinton's decision to keep her marriage together after her husband had been unfaithful to her. It seems to me that she is owed some respect for that.

While you are correct in theory, many cynical folks think that it was kept together in order to help her political aspirations come to fruition.
February 12, 200818 yr So someone that wants to run our country is in an uproar about "pimped out"? Geez, I'd hate to be in Afghanistan when Osama calls for her head...
