Did somebody say that it is okay for an anchor to use the phrase? Shuster was not acting as an anchor when he used the phrase. The consensus here seems to be that the Clintons have made way too much out of an unfortunate choice of words. Hillary's campaign is in trouble and she is trying to play the victim card to gain sympathy, as she has done so many times in the past. I just don't think that many people want to vote for a victim for the presidency. There is no conspiracy to keep Clinton out of the White House. Democrats are just beginning to understand the depths to which the Clintons will sink in their quest for power.

I guess that I am censuring my high school students too much, because I would not let them use any phrase that refers to "pimping" someone out, yet it is not a big deal for news anchors to use it. I have read the article and evidently missed where the comment was made, if not on air. Someone please enlighten me.

If I recall, didn't Dick Cheney deem it inappropriate to bring up the sexuality of his daughter in a recent presidential election? She was an adult. Trust me, it wouldn't be an issue for me. I wouldn't agree with the "pimping out" statement if it were Jenna and Barbara supporting their dad, either. As far as the PC thing, do you think that it is possible that maybe Obama just doesn't agree with it?
