Just curious as to why my 25 point win prediction was highlighted when there are a couple others that are higher (underlined). I'm not offended or anything, just curious.:ylsuper:

Next-to-last home game in the fieldhouse for Miller, Setty, King and Tolle. If the game gets played, I understand that Elliott brings a big, vocal fan base. Should be a good atmosphere.

Let's see more than likely the 1st round match-up at Rupp, neither team will show much IMO, fairly low scoring, while everyone has heard of Miller Mason's fans are in for a treat getting to watch Jonathon Ferguson

That's a valid point that hasn't been mentioned before now. Vanilla from both teams?

Elliott co. is deserving of all the hype they are receiving. You only get a special group like them in a small school once or twice in a lifetime. Mason co. has at least three times the population of Elliott co. Based on their #3 ranking Mason co. should win this game. But Elliott is a blast to watch,and are both quicker and faster than some think. I don't even live there, and I am not their #1 fan, but I will be pulling for them if they go to Rupp. Everbody loves Cinderella !:thumb:

 

I agree on Elliot being a very small school and having a very special group of kids.

Should and will Mason and some other highly ranked and talented teams beat Elliot? .....Probably so.

I will say that if any of these teams slip up or take Elliot lightly then Elliot will lay one on them. Those (Elliot Co.) kids can flat out play.

 

I am not an Elliot Co. fan but should they win our (16th) Region again and go to Rupp I will be pulling for them. Being a fan of a small class A school myself I love the idea of the small schools beating the "big boys". :thumb:

I can honestly say that there is only one, maybe two 16th region schools that I would not pull for if they were in the state tournament.

:thumb: I agree, I do think that this still will be a good basketball game with two talented teams but I also think that both may "hold back" some things they are not wanting to show. Also, they may throw some things out there that they have no intention of running later just to make people look at it and have to prepare for something else .

What are the rules for these two schools, if there is no school tomorrow? I want everyone to be safe , but would hate to see this game canceled.

 

I will not predict in this one. My family has been long time friends with coach Mays. Also would love to see my 10th region buddies Mason win too. I think this game will be closer than most think.
