February 7, 200818 yr Was reported earlier that no children were harmed although this incident did happen at the school/classroom near children. The school has now released the children and parents are picking their children up.

February 7, 200818 yr A lot of details keep changing, but all kids are safe. Early reports were that is away from kids and now they are saying it was in classroom and also some are saying he also stabbed her sister before shooting and stabbing teacher. Also some are saying he is at his house now and others say he is at mother in law's house, evidently he is still in a house w/ police outside. Radio is reporting teacher is in stable condition.

I think she's fine, her sister was in the high school and they're both home safe, but the little one who is 10 may struggle with it all. She's a tough little girl but this isn't your everyday trauma. My youngest is 9 and he thinks his teacher is fantastic, I can't imagine him witnessing something like that.
February 7, 200818 yr Standoff with gunman is over and the report is that the gunman is dead from a self-inflicted wound.
February 7, 200818 yr They are reporting that another woman was stabbed prior to the school shooting, they are reporting that both women are still alive, the teacher is in critical condition here in Cabell Huntington Hospital.
