School Shooting in Ohio

It has been confirmed that at least one person has been shot in a apparent school shooting in Portsmouth, Ohio. Thats all I know of at this point but I'm sure more news will come. This happened in an elementary school and all schools are on lock down.

Local news says it's Portsmouth Notre Dame, my cousins girls go there.

They said that the gunman is now off campus of the school.

Radio saying ex husband shot woman teacher on staircase away from kids and all kids are safe. SWAT has been called in, shooter is still on the loose. Victim is being lifeflighted as we speak.

Just terrible news, like Doc said is to close to home for us. No one is immune to this kind of sickness anymore. Prayers going out for the children, teachers, admin, parents of this school.

 

Our local news just came on and said that this was a domestic situation and was also a possible shooting at a residence in the area.

I heard he has gone into a home nearby(maybe his) and police have him trapped and shots fired.

News (wsaz) now reportng that the teacher was stabbed as well. Police are now at a house in the area where they feel that the gunman/stabber is located and have just reported that smoke was starting to come out of the house.

 

No updates on the teachers condition as of now.

Police and Swat have shooter trapped in a house and some saying shots being fired there. Teacher shot has been life flighted no other details being released.
