I wish they would put the multiplayer maps of the older games (specifically Halo 2) out on Halo 3. I guess I like Halo 3 best because superior system, more weapons, etc. I also never played Xbox Live with the others, so I don't know how their online system was.

I personally like 2 the best, Ivory Tower is one of my favorite maps. Lockout is another favorite, but I can't remember if it's on 1 or 2.

I didnt like Halo 2 as much as the other two. I havent played much multiplayer maps on 2 and 3, so I cant say on those. On the first Halo the map we played the most when we had 8 or more guys was Blood Gulch, but I also really liked the large map in the snow. I cant remember the name of that one. Hang em High was one we played a pretty good deal as well.

IMO, The original Halo: Combat Evolved cannot be topped. The online play is not that much different than that of 2 and 3, and the story mode is so intense yet epic.

However, my favorite map is resides in Halo 2. Im not sure of what the title of the map is but it consists of two bases (red and blue) housing a banshee, a ghost and a warthog. There is a gigantic tower in the middle of the two bases, and the whole map is played inside of a cave. If someone can confirm that map title....then that one gets my vote.

My brother and I always play Rockets on that map. Its one of our favorites.

Halo 1...Story Mode...Favorite Weapon...The Needler...I know most people do not like that weapon but it does alot of damage...The shot gun is another of my favorites...:thumb:

Best multiplayer is Halo 2...Acension, Lockout, Ivory Tower, Zanzibar..Beaver Creek..The best!

Well I have only had 3 but I love it. Does anyone know about those extra levels you can buy?

CTF in Blood Gulch in Halo 1 is classic.

Anyone ever watch Red vs. Blue?

Freakin hilarious.

I'm kinda thinking 2, but I dunno, I would probably like three alot more but none of the people I've been playing with for years are still playing.

Waterworks is the map you're thinking of. Great map for CTF.

Best game overall - Halo: Combat Evolved

The original easily has the best story mode, and while it's multiplayer now falls short of it's successors, it is still good enough to be one of the best ever. I'll also say it was the best out of the box, before any updates had to be made or anything like that. Halo 2's multiplayer is my favorite, but before the first updates it was not nearly as good.

Best Multiplayer - Halo 2

This game tweaked and improved the gameplay from Halo: Combat Evolved, and has IMO the best compliment of maps by the time the game was done. They tried to change so much for Halo 3, when in reality the game was not broken at all.

Best Map - Hang 'em High/Tombstone

My all time favorite, and I don't see anything topping that ever. It's a shame they waited until a couple of months before Halo 3 to update it and bring it into Halo 2. Map is just a classic.

My favorite maps across the years: Hang 'em High/Tombstone, Sidewinder, Darnation, Prisoner, Lockout, Ivory Tower, Headlong, Zanzibar, Construct, The Pit, Guardian

Most overrated map - Blood Gulch/Coagulation Never was a big fan of Blood Gulch. Too big for my tastes, and too sniper oriented. If your team gets both snipers, you almost NEVER lose. Coagulation was an abomination. They made it even bigger, and with the "host" quirks of Halo 2 if you got the sniper on one end, you had only to go up in one of the corners and you could shoot anyone anywhere on the map. Not balanced at all.
