Related to clothes color.....never, ever, ever, wear a red shirt while on a landing party from the USS Enterprise.

Yeah, your odds of surviving the first commercial break are slim to none usually.

I have learned that women are really stupid. They scream and scream while running back into the house where the killer is, just to answer the phone!!!

I also have learned that you can always come back from the dead to kill again.

And....here is the big one!!!! Thanks to Birdsfan, I now know that I am half Italian or Puerto Rican, and my dad is full Italian or Puerto Rican. Geez, PH and my dad were really surpised by that one....PH wants a refund because he thought he was getting half Choctaw....he said I mis-represented myself!!! LOL LOL

I think HHSDad is having a seizure.

Apparently looking back causes one to loose a tremendous amount of a lead. The monster/serial killer/whatever need only walk at a normal pace yet as soon as the victim, who was running full speed but looking back, trips, its all over.

I have long said that if I were in Halloween I would have jogged up ahead just a bit, then slowly walked backwards while keeping an eye on him.

Tongues?

I've noticed that you do that alot. Do you have some sort of language program on your PC?

What? You don't speak Choctaw? I thought everyone did.

If you ever find yourself with a group of people in an unfamiliar house where it seems as something strange may be going on and you have recently seen news about a murderer on the loose, it is always best to split up from them and look around the house.

When searching an unfamiliar house, always keep the lights off. It's better on the eyes apparently...

If you are with a group of roughly 2 to 5 people and your car breaks down in a remote location, and your cell phone just happens to be out of service, you might as well write your eulogy and wait in the car...

Am I wrong here? Did not every old B Western use dark-skinned ethnic actors because it was hard to find enough authentic Native-Americans?
We've had our Kentucky-isms in the other thread, I thought maybe we could share some stuff we learn from movies.

Here's a few...

Cold Case detectives criminals will confess when confronted with weak evidence and speculation, no matter how circumstancial. Must be their conscience bothering them all those years.

If being chased through town, you can usually take cover in a passing St Patrick's Day parade - at any time of the year.

All grocery shopping bags contain at least one stick of French bread.

The ventilation system of any building is a perfect hiding place. No one will ever think of looking for you in there and you can travel to any other part of the building without difficulty.

The Eiffel Tower can be seen from any window of any building in Paris.

A man will show no pain while taking the most ferocious beating but will wince when a woman tries to clean his wounds.

Cars and trucks that crash will almost always burst into flames.

Medieval peasants had perfect teeth.

It does not matter if you are heavily outnumbered in a fight involved martial arts - your enemies will wait patiently to attack you one by one by dancing around in a threatening manner until you have knocked out their predecessor.

All bombs are fitted with electronic timing devices with large red readouts so you know exactly when they're going to go off.

A detective can only solve a case once he has been suspended from duty.

Those are very funny. I always think of that also.

Another one. If you are ever in a hostage situation with a psyco killer where you are probably going to die. One girl always escapes, gets not very far from the area, does not call the police, then goes back and tries to save her friends.

If you are a member of the Brody family from Massachusetts, don't go on vacation in the Bahamas.

All tornadoes are F5s.

Not that I'm aware of. I always saw authentic Native-Americans. ;)

Ricardo Montoban comes to mind.

When one plans to shoot either 1) out of bullets 2) the safety is on.
