You're from southern Cincinnati, you wouldn't understand!:D

I was just about to say that. Too funny....

BTW, never heard of that either...

I think the distinction is you push a buggy and pull a cart. :thumb:

In Pike County we definitely push our groceries around the store in a buggy.

Afterwards, we might pull them home in a cart behind our mule.

A Shopping cart is just that ,something that you put your groceries in when you shop a buggy is something that you put your baby in ,and it's not soda or pop its a soft drink .

You Northern Kentucky people have never heard of "hot dog sauce" either. One of the funniest things that I have ever witnessed was, at a playoff game at Raceland, while playing a Northern Kentucky team, I was standing behind a fan from the opposing team at the concession stand. The person taking orders asked if she could help the lady. The lady replied that she would like a hot dog. The concession stand worker then asked if she would like the hot dog with sauce. The Norther lady asked, what?

The conversation went on for several minutes. The concession stand lady was trying to explain what hot dog sauce was, saying it was a meat sauce that you put on hot dogs. And the Northern lady kept saying why would I want that on my hot dog.

After the lady got her sauceless hot dog and walked away, and it was my turn at the window, I told the concession stand worker that in Northern Kentucky it not called hot dog sauce, it is called chili. Funny stuff.

What's so funny? :irked:

Here is a picture of our mule and cart; just add groceries. :D

Never heard of it either unless being used to describe something connected to a horse.

Where I'm from we push buggys at the Walmart. Drink pops and cokes (as well as some other things). And not only do possums live in the middle of the road, so do polecats.

I can understand the confusion at first, but the concession stand lady didn't know that it was also called chili?

Of course, you would need a bigger cart. :p :bunny:

That's PepRock's view. :thumb:

Something that drives me nuts, is "Ambulance Drivers". It is a personal thing, but I hate it when people call me an ambulance driver. I went to college and have an intense knowledge of medicine. I can diagnose medical conditions and treat those conditions, I can start IV's give many medicine, shock your heart back into rhythm, read EKG's and tell you when you are having a heart attack, put large tubes in you lungs, put tubes into your airway and breath for you. Trust me, I am much more then an ambulance driver.

If you really want someone to look at you like are nuts. When someone says ambulance driver, say "wait the police car driver and the fire truck driver will be here in a minute", that is what I say when people call me an ambulance driver. People just don't get it.

Or a bigger mule!

Apparently she did not think of it. But, it was one of the funniest conversations that I have ever observed. The Northern Kentucky lady was horrified, if you could only have seen the look on her face.
