February 1, 200818 yr Very simply it's pinto beans soaked overnite and slow cooked in a crockpot. Many prefer served with diced onions, cornbread, and catsup. Not my taste but many like saurkraut served alongside. It's kept many a poor family from starving in hard times and that's why so many have developed a taste for it. Take out the ketchup and add some chow chow relish and you've got something there.
February 1, 200818 yr Here's something I find strange. I CAN NOT find no "pickled bologna" anywhere here in Sanford Florida. Hey my friend!!!!!! What on earth is wrong with those people NO PICKLED BOLOGNA...............Maybe we can get someone to run you some down..................Take Care.
February 2, 200818 yr Is this "sauce" the same thing as our Cincy chili, or is it a different product all-together? It's the same principal, but it taste different. I think the type of hot dog sauce or chili is a regional thing. Some places have a sweater sauce, while other places have a spicy sauce. Pretty much the same thing, just a different name.
