January 31, 200818 yr Oh...and Mystic River. Even a better book, as is usually the case. Dennis Lehane is, IMHO, one of the absolute best crime fiction writers out there. For a wild ending, give his book "Shutter Island" a try.

January 31, 200818 yr Author Second that. Se7en had quite the surprise ending. Indeed. I get a kick out of people that claim they knew well in advance of a movie's surprise ending that it was coming. Maybe they do and I'm just not a perceptive movie watcher, but I can't beleive anyone would have guessed the ending to 'Se7en.' Pretty disturbing stuff. BTW, I agree about 'Witness for the Prosecution.' Great movie. It can be found on eBay pretty cheaply for anyone interested. Well worth the $10.
