Nothing better than watching a good movie that has an unexpected ending, be it a who-dunnit mystery or just one that shocks the heck out of you at the end. :eek: Some of the best ones that come to mind for me are (in no particular order):

 

• Sixth Sense - probably quintessential surprise ending
  
• Psycho
  
• Planet of the Apes (original)
  
• Se7en
  
• Witness for the Prosecution - terrific older Agatha Christie movie
  
• The Game
  
• The Usual Suspects
  
• Primal Fear
  
• Fight Club
  
• The Village (not the greatest movie in the world, but definitely a shock ending).

 

Any others come to mind? Be careful not to say anything that gives away the ending.

The recent release "War" I sure didn't see it ending the way it does.

"The Life of David Gale" with Kevin Spacey. I enjoyed the surprise ending very much.

I am Legend. Really didnt see that ending coming.

I'd say Identity with John Cusack is a shocker, unless you are really observant, which I am not.

Hated it so much! Loved the movie, hated the end.

The first Saw movie. I haven't watched any of the others.
