You all are taking a lot for granted when you post June Buchanan as one of the participants in this tournament. Don't you think it would be better to find out who wins the Hazard-JBS game before you post who is the best team in the All A?

Sorry, I didn't realize that the game hasn't been played!

Playing on a Sunday in the Bible Belt area of the Commonwealth! :confused: I was always under the impression that the Eastern Kentucky Regions were the ones that were so dead set against playing the Sweet Sixteen Championship game on Sunday. I guess I was wrong!

While I would love to see it, and it would make my friend so very, very happy, I just don't see Gallatin being able to stop June B. June B has only lost two games to Kentucky teams and those were too two of the best teams in the Commonwealth, LexCath and Mason County, both by only 10 or so points.

 

Gallatin also, only lost to some of the best in the commonwealth,Except for Scott Cty, the other losses to Holmes and Anderson were less than 10 points. Should be some fun basketball down Richmond.

I remember hearing the same thing about Hopson & also Langhi (6'11" and unstoppable) last year before the semi-final game between Bishop Brossart and UHA. As I recall the result was 58-38 with Hopson chipping in a whopping 6 being guarded by a D-III recruit and a golfer, and Langhi with 5 being totally handled by a shotputter 6 inches shorter--Both were overshadowed by teammate Edumundson, as well as the Mustang starters.

 

UHA better not look past Coach Faust & the St. Henry 'Cru or they'll be headed south on the early bus!! That said, if they can all play as hard as Edmundson, they have to be one, if not the favorite to win it all.

I may be wrong, but I think the schedule for most of the teams was pushed back a day because of the snow-slick roads this week. Some games were postponed.

Understand I like Gallatin County and if I can get off work. I will be rooting for them at Richmond, but you sort of forgot about the Ryle Loss (38-53). And yes I understand you guys had a issue with the 9th Region Referees in that loss.

 

BTW; Paintsville blew out Anderson (79-58) and Anderson also lost to Bardstown (64-54), so I wouldn't be calling Anderson one of the best teams in the Commonwealth.

Rose Hill has 2 of the better players so I don't think they should be counted out, their record is very deceiving
