Another bad 3 quarter for Ashland that lost the game for them... Came back in the 4th but wasnt enough... Ashland lost the last 4 of 6 games with 3 tough games next week...

Ashland now 3-6 in their last 9 games I believe.

 

Usually at this point of the year, the Cats are putting things together and gearing up for another tournament run. They seem to be really struggling right now and their schedule doesn't get any easier.

 

Their next two games are on the road at East Carter and Clark Co.

 

They still have home games against Rose Hill and Elliott Co.

Boyd made some really stupid decisions late in this one. They should have won by 8 or 10but are lucky to get a win at all in this one.

 

Selby had a nice game with 25 points and a handful of rebounds.

I totally agree... This score was alot closer than it should be... Some turnovers, missed free throws and missed easy shots....

Congrats to Boyd County on a big rivalry win.

Its upsetting when Ashland loses but I can take getting beat by BC. But if it was other area teams ( RH ) then thats a different story..

It's probably a good thing the one boy quit for Ashland according to happy ole dad, or Ashland may have lost by 20.
