(No processed hair) The hair can be permed or colored, but it can't be bleached, synthetic or dreadlocks. They need a minimum of 10 inches of hair cut and tied into a ponytail. You can donated layered hair if the longest layer is at least 10 inches. (They sell off the shorter hair.) They also accept (and sell off) gray hair.
