You can donated layered hair if the longest layer is at least 10 inches. (They sell off the shorter hair.) They also accept (and sell off) gray hair. Who do they sell the shorter/gray hair to?

I did this a couple years ago when I got my hair cut short for the first time in about a decade. Felt really good about it, too. A very worthy cause. :thumb:

I could do it now, however, I want to donate more length so that someone who had long hair to begin with can have it. I have decided to do this for the rest of my life...letting my hair grow, then, donating...
